I am a sensitive one....case that is.

Today I have been searching for rental properties again. I have located a potential property, but the rental amount is $80 more per week. Not surprising given the current rental market. I was unsure if the grant would cover this difference, so thought I should check.

So I rang DHS at Dandenong, asking for the grants section. I was then forwarded to the City of Casey at the Balla Balla centre. They wanted me to make an appointment for DHS. I explained I was already speaking to a worker and had already had an appointment. They then walked up the hallway....clonk.. clonk.. clonk.. go the high heels

.....then I hear the entire conversation. Apparently "this is a sensitive one" and they wanted the same worker dealing with me to call me back. They said they would do it within 15 minutes.

Lovely to hear that I have been categorised as a sensitive one. I am amazed at how successful they are at getting you upset. I don't want to be a sensitive one, I just want some help to find a safe place to live, it was a simple question I was clarifying.......are my expectations too high?
